Understanding your CT scan report
CT reports describe findings like nodules, lesions or ground-glass opacities with exact measurements. Upload the report or images and each finding is explained in plain language.
You see what is often incidental — small lung nodules are common — what usually gets a follow-up scan, and which findings need prompt attention.
What you can upload
- Chest CT (lungs)
- Head CT
- Abdominal and pelvic CT
- CT angiography and spine CT
- Report PDFs, photos and DICOM files
Terms you may find in your report
- Nodule
- A small round spot, for example in the lung. Most are harmless; size decides whether it is checked again.
- Ground-glass opacity
- A hazy area in the lung, seen in inflammation, infection and other conditions.
- Lesion
- A general word for an area of abnormal tissue. It says nothing about the cause.
- Lymphadenopathy
- Enlarged lymph nodes, often due to infection or inflammation.
- Incidental finding
- Something found by chance that was not the reason for the scan.

Previews aren't stored
